About

Work

Since 2021, I’ve worked as a Senior Developer at Parux (formerly Alliance Technologies). During my time here, I’ve helped bring applications like InScope, SmartSitter, and OneSource Home Connections to life. My role primarily focuses on implementation and designing solutions tailored to our clients’ needs.

Before that, I spent seven years contributing to developing PlatformOS (NearMe), a comprehensive platform created for developing marketplaces. We built applications for notable clients like Intel, Hallmark, and UIPath.

Even earlier, starting in 2008, I co-founded VebooLabs, a small development shop. We were dedicated to transforming graphic designs into polished HTML/CSS. Our work was not just about quantity but primarily about the high quality of our code. We ran the CSSNinjas.com and XHTMLizers.com websites and completed over 200 projects over seven years. My time at VebooLabs was invaluable, as it helped me hone my skills in project management, team leadership, and client relations.

My journey in development began in 2004 while studying at the University of Economics in Poznań (then known as the Academy of Economics). I joined a company that eventually evolved into Przelewy24. Later, I gained additional experience working at Logosoft, Merix Studio, and Supermedia Interactive. These early experiences were invaluable, laying the foundation for my career.

Education

I have a master’s degree in IT and Statistics from the University of Economics in Poznan (back then Akademia Ekonomiczna).

I’m incredibly grateful to have discovered Jeffrey Zeldman’s book Designing with Web Standards early in my career. It helped structure my knowledge and set me on the right path, a gift I continue to appreciate. Since early 2006, I’ve been following people like Eric Meyer, Dan Cederholm, Jon Hicks, Jason Santa Maria, Jeremy Keith, Jonathan Snook, and so many more.

For several years now, my true passion has been UX design. I’ve participated in training sessions and workshops from learndesign.pl, Uxcel, and the Interaction Design Foundation.

At the same time, I’ve been unwaveringly fascinated by the evolution of AI in its broadest sense over recent years. The capabilities of reasoning, data interpretation, and tool usage enable the creation of previously unattainable products.

I highly recommend the courses Maria Parysz and Konrad Banachewicz led as part of ElephantAI.

Life

I live near Poznań, Poland. I’m passionate about meditation, philosophy, and role-playing games (Warhammer Fantasy RPG🤘).
